As Michigan 4-H continues to evolve and explore new ways to engage youth, we have made the decision to conclude the Cash Composition Contest. After six wonderful years, the Michigan 4-H Cash Composition Contest has reached the conclusion of its successful run. Since its launch, youth from across the state have shared their creativity, financial knowledge, and personal experiences through thoughtful essays and compositions focused on money management and financial literacy.

We are incredibly proud of the many young people who participated, the important conversations the contest inspired, and the financial skills it helped develop. We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who submitted entries, encouraged youth to participate, served as judges, and supported the contest over the years.

While the Cash Composition Contest will no longer be offered, we remain committed to providing engaging financial education opportunities for Michigan youth and look forward to exploring new ways to help young people build the skills they need for a successful future.
